Eastbay Media

About EastBay

EastBay Media was founded in October, 2002 by Brad Pumphrey, noted and respected pioneer in the fields of Internet video and webcasting. Based in Columbia, MD, we serve the mid-Atlantic region as well as the entire US, Canada, and the UK as providers of digital media services and solutions.

We founded our company in the Annapolis, Maryland area, the sailing capital of the US. We have sea water in our veins. This had to somehow be reflected in our identity. In fact, our logo symbolizes the dynamic movement of the sea. Having spent much time on the west coast where folks associate with a different bay, we chose the name EastBay as homage to our own Chesapeake Bay. Plus, the domain name was available!
